Probably my largest pair to date! It's an interesting process making these earrings. The hoop elements are fused argentium silver for an organic look, I start by melting small pieces into little balls and then fusing them to the wire hoop at near melting temperature. Some elements are soldered as necessary, and the tourmaline slice dangles are in hand stamped textured settings. These large pink tourmaline slices have crackly inclusions typical of accessibly priced tourmaline, and it works well in this organic, rustic design. Handmade argentium silver French ear wires wires with dot detail. Oxidized, then tumbled in abrasive media and hand finished. These drop about 2 and 1/2 inches from the ear wire. The hoops measure about 1 & 5/8 inches in diameter. Rather labor intensive, but I love the result!
