So this is an interesting process making these earrings. The hoop elements are fused argentium silver for an organic look, I start by melting small pieces into little balls and then fusing them to the wire hoop at near melting temperature. Some elements are soldered as necessary, and the tourmaline slice dangles are in textured settings, attached to the hoops with a soldered ring. These unusual tourmaline slices have crackly-clear centers with seafoam green borders. Handmade sterling silver French ear wires. Oxidized, then tumbled in abrasive media and hand finished. These drop about 2 and 1/4 in from the ear wire. The hoops measure about 1.5 inches in diameter. Rather labor intensive, but I love the result!
