I picked up a few antique coins at a gem show probably 20 years ago, and finally have begun to make settings for them. I love the design on this one! The card that came with it says "gudhaiya w. India Gujarat 800-1000 A.D." It's apparently silver, but since I don't know the exact alloy and I wanted to make sure this jewelry was skin safe, I backed it in sterling silver. Beautiful contrast with the thick 22 karat gold bezel that encircles the coin. Pendant portion measures about 5/8 inch, and it will ship on an 18 in sterling silver chain with an antique patina unless otherwise discussed.
